and reasonable gun regulations? >> as i said earlier on the show, i don't think we will. i did speak to the chair of the house judiciary committee about this issue on the floor last friday, and i was pleased to hear that he said we would have hearings, or some type of consideration, but he didn't give me an indication that he would be in favor or that he thought we would pass a bill that would limit access to any type of weapons including high capacity magazines or, you know, maybe mental health laws might come about but i don't think the high capacity and assault magazines would have much favor there. you can get a bill from the senate and ever an amendment to a bill that came from the the house and amend it to have some other subject matter, like guns, and maybe the house would have to deal with it, but we saw speaker boehner because of the reticenco of the tea party to tax anybody in america, couldn't get to the floor. he was finally forced to because of embarrassment. maybe that will happen. if it happens at all it will come from the senate. the american public will have to rise up and be be

of ohio. you don't under how hard it is to get a thousand protesters anywhere. but anonymous in steubenville. if you haven't heard of story it's an amazing one. >> this alleged rape happened in august of 2012 and no one was really talking about it until anonymous got involved and shed light on this situation. the reason why anonymous did so was because it turns out that officials in steubenville, ohio, were trying to brush the situation under the rug. there were numerous individuals involved in this alleged rape, and only two of the football players of the steubenville football team are being charged. others are being charged as juveniles as opposed to adults. however, anonymous has gotten involved, and they want to bring awareness to all the other individuals involved in this case, one is michael who recorded a 12-minute video bragging about the rape of this 16-year-old girl. >> cenk: we've shown that before, but only the two football players are being charged. >> correct. >> cenk: the guy who was videoed for 12 minutes admitted. >> yes they're using un unconventional eviden
, they're just older, kind of older voters that vote republican. >> i don't know if they're voting at all. most of them are in prison. you know, what happened was these are all kids, this all happened after world war ii. we all went on a car buying binge, filled up the gas and the exhaust peaches poisoned children. the kids grew up and started committing more crime. we took lead out of gasoline starting in 1975, and if you go, you know, 15-20 years ahead wait for those kids to grow one they commit less crime. so from about 1991 forward there's been a very steep drop in crime. now, all those kids who were exposed to lead and became criminals in the 1970's and 1980's, we locked them up. we built a ton of prisons doubled prison capacity, then doubled it again. most of those kids are in prison. here's what's interesting. right now today the arrest rates for teenagers 18, 19, 20-year-olds is down, but the arrest rates for older people, 35 40, 45-year-olds is up. that's because those are the same people who were lead poisoned as kids, put in prison, now being let out but they're still violent s
